Last Updated: 06 October 2026

1. Introduction

RefixPro provides IT support, device repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, software support, and AMC-related services for customers.

This Service & Warranty Policy explains the general conditions applicable to services provided by RefixPro.

The exact service scope, charges, warranty period, and applicable conditions may vary depending on the device, issue, service performed, replacement component, and service arrangement.

2. Services Covered

RefixPro may provide services including:

  • Laptop repair and servicing
  • Desktop and PC repair
  • Mac and MacBook services
  • iPhone and iPad services
  • Android phone services
  • Tablet services
  • Windows and software support
  • Hardware troubleshooting
  • Software installation and troubleshooting
  • Cleaning and maintenance
  • IT support
  • Remote technical support
  • On-site technical support
  • AMC / Annual Maintenance services
  • Other IT and device-related technical services

Service availability may depend on the device, technical issue, location, parts availability, and other service requirements.

3. Inspection and Diagnosis

Some problems cannot be accurately identified without inspecting the device.

RefixPro may need to diagnose or inspect a device before confirming:

  • The exact fault
  • Required repair
  • Required parts
  • Labour requirements
  • Estimated completion time
  • Final service charges

A preliminary discussion or initial estimate does not necessarily represent the final diagnosis or final service cost.

4. Service Approval

Where applicable, RefixPro may provide the customer with a quotation or estimated service cost after diagnosis.

Chargeable repair or additional work may be performed after customer approval.

If additional problems are discovered during service, the customer may be contacted for approval before additional chargeable work is carried out.

5. Service Warranty

Where a service warranty is provided, the applicable warranty period and conditions will be communicated to the customer at the time of service.

A service warranty generally applies only to the specific repair or replacement work performed by RefixPro.

It does not automatically cover unrelated faults or new problems that occur after the original service.

6. What May Be Covered Under Service Warranty

Where applicable, service warranty may cover:

  • The specific repair performed
  • The specific replacement component supplied by RefixPro
  • Reoccurrence of the same issue directly related to the completed repair

The exact coverage depends on the nature of the service and the warranty terms communicated to the customer.

7. What May Not Be Covered

Unless specifically agreed otherwise, service warranty may not cover:

  • Physical damage
  • Accidental damage
  • Liquid or moisture damage
  • Broken or damaged ports, connectors, screens, or housings
  • Damage caused by misuse or negligence
  • Electrical or power-related damage after service
  • Virus or malware-related issues occurring after service
  • Software installed or modified by the customer after service
  • Unauthorized repair or modification by another technician
  • New or unrelated hardware failures
  • Damage caused by external accessories or components
  • Data loss
  • Problems caused by operating system updates or third-party software
  • Normal wear and tear

The actual warranty terms may vary according to the specific service performed.

8. Replacement Parts

Where a replacement part is required, RefixPro may use a suitable compatible component depending on availability and customer approval.

Part availability may depend on:

  • Device model
  • Manufacturer
  • Supplier availability
  • Market availability
  • Component specifications

Where applicable, warranty on a replacement part may be limited to the warranty provided by the relevant manufacturer or supplier, or to the warranty specifically offered by RefixPro.

9. Data and Backup Responsibility

Customers are strongly advised to create a complete backup of important data before submitting a device for repair or service.

Repair, troubleshooting, software installation, operating system work, hardware replacement, or other technical procedures may involve a risk of data loss or software changes.

RefixPro will take reasonable care while performing the requested service, but customers remain responsible for maintaining backups of important personal or business data.

RefixPro does not guarantee recovery of lost, corrupted, deleted, or inaccessible data unless a specific data recovery service has been agreed upon.

10. Customer Responsibility

Customers should provide accurate information about:

  • Device condition
  • Reported problem
  • Previous repair history
  • Existing damage
  • Important software or hardware requirements

Customers should also inform RefixPro about any existing physical damage or known issue before service begins.

11. Manufacturer Warranty

RefixPro does not claim to be an authorized manufacturer service center unless specifically stated.

If a device is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, customers should check the manufacturer’s warranty conditions before requesting independent repair services.

RefixPro is not responsible for changes to a manufacturer’s warranty resulting from services performed outside the manufacturer’s authorized service network.

12. AMC Services

AMC / Annual Maintenance services are provided according to the specific AMC plan and service scope agreed with the customer.

The AMC may specify:

  • Covered devices
  • Covered services
  • Number of visits
  • Remote support
  • On-site support
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Response time
  • Service duration
  • Exclusions
  • Applicable charges

Any service outside the agreed AMC scope may be chargeable separately.

13. On-Site Service

For on-site services, customers must provide reasonable access to the device and location required for the service.

The availability of on-site service may depend on the customer’s location and RefixPro’s service coverage.

Travel or additional service charges may apply where applicable and will be communicated to the customer.

14. Remote Support

Remote support may require the customer to provide temporary access to the device or follow instructions from the RefixPro support team.

Remote support is subject to the technical limitations of the device, operating system, internet connection, and issue being addressed.

Some problems may require physical inspection or an on-site/service-center repair.

15. Service Completion

A service may be considered completed when:

  • The agreed repair or service has been performed, and
  • The device has been tested where reasonably possible, and
  • The customer has been informed that the service is ready or completed.

For certain technical issues, complete testing may not be possible until the device is used under normal operating conditions.

16. Warranty Claim Process

If you believe a service-related issue has returned during the applicable warranty period, please contact RefixPro as soon as possible.

Please provide:

  • Customer name
  • Contact number
  • Device details
  • Service details
  • Description of the issue
  • Service invoice or reference information, where available

Our team may inspect the device to determine whether the issue is covered under the applicable service warranty.

A warranty claim does not automatically guarantee a free repair. The device may need to be inspected before warranty coverage is confirmed.

17. Warranty Exclusions

A warranty claim may be rejected where inspection indicates that the problem was caused by:

  • Physical or accidental damage
  • Liquid damage
  • Electrical surge or power-related damage
  • Misuse or negligence
  • Unauthorized repair
  • Tampering
  • Modification after service
  • New unrelated hardware failure
  • Damage caused by third-party components or software
  • Failure to follow reasonable operating or maintenance instructions

18. Changes to This Policy

RefixPro may update this Service & Warranty Policy from time to time to reflect changes in services, business practices, technology, or applicable requirements.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated Last Updated date.
